Working with Schools

We are delighted to be working within a number of schools across London. In school, we work like a peripatetic music teacher and each pupil is timetabled to have a lesson once a week.

We hold recitals in school where students present in public to parents and friends, and can also manage the entry and preparation for LAMDA exams should pupils want to take these.

Working as specialists in schools means that we can often help out with drama activities and clubs, write and direct school productions, run workshops and we even direct school staff pantomimes!

If you are a school and are interested in what we do, please do get in touch. There is no administration for you as we run everything ourselves, from our rigorous compliance checks to class timetabling.

Over a quarter of our pupils from Reception to Year 6 participate in lessons each week which complement our drama provision within our curriculum. Their teachers are engaging, friendly and supportive of our pupils from Reception all the way up to Year 6. ACC have worked with our school since 2012, empowering innumerable pupils in the skills of performance and public speaking. Year 5 and 6 pupils undertake weekly individual tuition, in which they explore various poetic styles, and work towards the eventual aim of performing a piece of poetry to their parents, classmates and teachers in our much-anticipated recitals. The value of this programme, firmly embedded within our curriculum, is immeasurable. The girls' enjoyment of the sessions, facilitated by dedicated and skilled teachers, only serve to complement their increased self-confidence, vocabulary expansion and enhanced communication skills.
